Hi guys! So today I want to talk to you about Twelve--it's a non-alcoholic sparkling beverage that I recently tried. Actually, to be more accurate, I drank the entire 750 ml bottle all by myself!
I was really excited to receive a sample of this drink because I'm a teetotaler, which is totally cool--it's just that sparkling cider from the supermarket gets boring sometimes...especially on certain occasions that call for a little more sophistication--like the holidays.
Twelve was created by two chefs who wanted to develop an interesting, non-alcoholic alternative for fine dining and entertaining. I love that the packaging and the beverage itself are so sleek.
But anyway, onto flavor: The drink contains a base of organic green, black and white teas that's enhanced by fennel, bergamot, and topped off with a bit of citrus and effervescence. And the best part--it's only 60 calories per 8 oz!!!
Check it out this Christmas if you're a non-drinker like me or if you simply want to cut down on alcohol and calories. You can find it at Whole Foods and other specialty stores for about $6.99 per bottle.
So, what do you think--would you try this alternative to alcohol if you're a non-drinker? Or are you a fan of good ol' sparkling apple cider? And if you are drinking these holidays, what's your plan to cut down on calories?
